Keystone Pacific gets new tenant

 

Biotechnology equipment manufacturer Westfalia Separator Inc. will be the newest tenant in West Patterson’s Keystone Pacific Business Park, developers announced Thursday.

WESTFALIA SEPARATOR TO COME TO KEYSTONE’S BUSINESS PARK

Keystone Corporation is pleased to announce that Westfalia Separator, a global provider of equipment and process technology specifically suited to the field of mechanical separation technology, is moving to the 23,875 square foot flex building located at 555 Baldwin Road in Keystone Pacific Business Park.

Westfalia Separator, Inc, is a subsidiary of Wesfalia Separator AG, a German based international company in the GEA (Global Engineering Alliance) Group, and is one of the world’s market leaders when it comes to chemicals, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, starch technology and industrial biotechnology. Westfalia Separator manufactures repairs and distributes centrifugal separating equipment for the food processing industry.

Westfalia Separator is moving its regional operations from Hayward, California to Patterson. The Patterson facility will focus on sales, training and maintenance. The Westfalia facility is expected to grow to 25 employees, and will begin its operations in Patterson in early 2008. “Westfalia is excited about out upcoming move. We think Patterson will be an excellent fit for our business,” says Joeseph Pavlosky, Vice President of Operations for Westfalia Separator, Inc.  

In regards to the addition of Westfalia Separator to Keystone Pacific Business Park, J. Patrick Gavaghan, President and founder of Keystone Corporation, stated, “The addition of Westfalia is indicative of the tremendous interest we’ve experienced in industrial recruitment to the Patterson area. Our activity level is up significantly over previous years. We’ve been showing our properties to a diverse group of prospects and expect more exciting news in the coming months. Westfalia is a great addition to our business park. Keystone would like to thank the city staff in particular, Cleve Morris, Rod Simpson and the Inspections Department, for their assistance in bringing Westfalia to Patterson.”
