Julie Gavaghan

Julie A. Gavaghan serves as Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Keystone Corporation. She has developed over 1,500 residential lots and has supervised the site work for +/- 2,000,000 square feet of commercial space. Ms. Gavaghan has managed the vertical construction of 800,000 square feet of apartment homes, 400,000 square feet of townhomes, 154,000 square feet of Class “A” Office space and 120,000 square feet of Single-story/R&D office space. 

Prior to joining Keystone, Ms. Gavaghan founded Julie’s Cleaning Service, which she operated until selling the business in 1997. Ms. Gavaghan was given the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award by BTI and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development. In 1993, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University where she served as Chancellor’s Liaison, Member of the Chancellor’s Roundtable Committee and Board Member for the Student Union’s Leadership Development series. 

Ms. Gavaghan now serves as a member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, a member of the Board of Directors for the NCSU Entrepreneurship Education Initiative and is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and General Contractor.
